Weather Update
Good morning, folks! It’s Sunday, March 30, 2025, and it seems the weather has decided to play a not-so-funny trick on us again. A lazy trough of low pressure is lounging over the southern parts of the country while another sluggish trough is holding down the fort up north. These cloud formations and showers are acting like that friend who just won’t leave the party—sticking around for the next several days!
So, what’s in store for today, you ask? Well, brace yourselves for a mix of occasional showers and the spectacular show that is our friendly thunderstorms! We might even see a few heavy falls; you know, just to keep things interesting. As the day rolls on, severe thunderstorms could swing by in the afternoon or evening hoping to bring us some intense rainfall, particularly on Viti Levu and Vanua Levu. Keep your eyes peeled for potential flash floods, especially in those low-lying areas that are always ready to throw a surprise rain dance!
Tomorrow’s forecast looks just as enticing: expect cloudy periods with plenty of showers over southern and eastern Viti Levu—stretching from Sigatoka to Suva, and up north to Tailevu, Naitasiri, and Ra. Today looks fine and dandy, but hang on tight—the afternoon and evening could bring some thunderstorms packing a punch with heavy falls. Tomorrow? More of the same sunshine mixed with a dash of clouds and showers.
For Sigatoka/Coral Coast:
You guessed it—occasional showers and a sprinkle of thunderstorms, along with those unexpected heavy falls. Tomorrow will follow suit with cloudy periods and some showers.
For Tavua/Rakiraki:

Just a simple fine day for you—except for those isolated showers and thunderstorms sneaking in later on. Tomorrow continues with the fine weather—don’t get too excited, though; expect those odd showers again.
For Savusavu:
It’s going to be an occasional shower fest today, with thunderstorms that might just intensify during the later hours. Tomorrow looks to bring cloudy vibes with some showers.
For Lau/Lomaiviti and Kadavu:
You will join the occasional shower bandwagon with a potential guest appearance by thunderstorms. Enjoy cloudy periods with a sprinkle of showers tomorrow.
