According to the Nadi weather office, these severe thunderstorms are expected to bring significant rainfall, which may lead to flash flooding in the affected areas within the next several hours. Authorities are advising residents to exercise caution by avoiding flooded creeks and drains, refraining from walking, cycling, or driving through floodwaters, and staying alert to changing conditions.
