The upcoming McDonald’s Fiji Coral Coast 7s tournament, taking place from January 16 to 18, 2025, at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka, is generating significant excitement as it may mark the farewell appearance of rugby legends Jerry Tuwai and Rosko Specman. These iconic players will unite as part of the Mike Friday Select 7s team during this much-anticipated event.
Jerry Tuwai, widely respected for his extraordinary skills and leadership, is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and former World Rugby Sevens Player of the Year. Recently, he secured a silver medal at the Paris Summer Olympics in 2024. Tuwai’s legacy in Fiji rugby embodies faith, humility, and flair, capturing the essence of the sport.
On the other hand, Rosko Specman, affectionately known as “Specmagic,” shot to prominence for his remarkable speed and agility during the 2017/2018 HSBC World Series, playing a pivotal role in South Africa’s success.
