The upcoming McDonald’s Fiji Coral Coast 7s tournament, taking place from January 16 to 18, 2025, at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka, is creating significant excitement as it could mark the last appearance for rugby legends Jerry Tuwai and Rosko Specman in the sevens arena. This highly anticipated event will see both athletes join forces in the Mike Friday Select 7s team, a significant moment after years of competing as rivals.

Jerry Tuwai is renowned as a two-time Olympic gold medalist and former World Rugby Sevens Player of the Year, and he recently secured a silver medal at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. His journey illustrates the spirit of Fiji rugby, marked by humility and flair.

Rosko Specman, known by fans as “Specmagic,” is celebrated for his exceptional speed and agility, which played a crucial role in South Africa’s success during the 2017/2018 HSBC World Series.
