A woman in her 60s appeared in the Lautoka Magistrates Court yesterday facing charges of illegal drug possession. She has been charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs. Authorities reported that a search conducted by the Lautoka Serious Organised Crime and Intelligence Unit at her residence on Sunday resulted in the seizure of white crystals suspected to be methamphetamine and dried leaves thought to be marijuana. The case has been adjourned for further mention later today.
