Senior Woman Faces Drug Charges After Police Raid

A woman in her 60s appeared in Lautoka Magistrates Court yesterday facing charges of illegal drug possession. The defendant is charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit substances. According to the police, a raid conducted by the Lautoka Serious Organised Crime and Intel Unit at her residence on Sunday resulted in the seizure of white crystals suspected to be methamphetamine and dried leaves believed to be marijuana.
