A woman in her 60s appeared in Lautoka Magistrates Court yesterday, facing charges of possessing illicit drugs. She is accused of one count of unlawful possession of illicit substances. According to police, a raid by the Lautoka Serious Organised Crime and Intel Unit at her residence on Sunday resulted in the seizure of white crystals suspected to be methamphetamine, as well as dried leaves believed to be marijuana. The case has been adjourned for further mention later today.
