A woman in her 60s appeared in Lautoka Magistrates Court yesterday, facing charges of illicit drug possession. She has been charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs. According to police, a raid conducted by the Lautoka Serious Organised Crime and Intel Unit at her residence on Sunday resulted in the discovery of white crystals suspected to be methamphetamine and dried leaves believed to be marijuana. The case has been adjourned for further mention later today.
