Senior Woman Arrested for Alleged Drug Possession in Lautoka

A woman in her 60s appeared in Lautoka Magistrates Court yesterday, facing charges related to the possession of illegal drugs. She is accused of unlawfully possessing illicit substances. Authorities reported that a raid conducted by the Lautoka Serious Organised Crime and Intel Unit at her residence on Sunday resulted in the seizure of white crystals, suspected to be methamphetamine, along with dried leaves believed to be marijuana. The case has been scheduled for another mention later today.
