A woman in her 60s appeared in Lautoka Magistrates Court yesterday, facing charges related to the possession of illegal substances. She has been charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs. According to police, a raid by the Lautoka Serious Organised Crime and Intel Unit at her residence on Sunday resulted in the seizure of white crystals suspected to be methamphetamine, as well as dried leaves believed to be marijuana. The case has been scheduled for another mention later today.
