Adi Cakobau School will compete against Bucalevu Secondary in the semi-final of the Weetbix U18 Raluve Trophy next weekend. ACS, featuring Fijiana Drua halfback Noelani Baselala, managed to secure a tough 34-24 win against Jasper Williams High School. The team from Sawani started strong, scoring consecutive tries in the first half to take a 12-5 lead at halftime.
The second half intensified, but ACS continued to build on their advantage with three additional tries, leaving Jasper struggling to catch up. On the other hand, Bucalevu Secondary School clinched their place in the semi-finals with a thrilling 15-12 victory over Lomary Secondary School. In a dramatic finish, Bucalevu was down 10-12 with just five minutes remaining when their fullback executed a crucial play and raced for a last-minute try.
