SEIKO introduced its much-anticipated “Ichigo Ichie” collection at Prouds in Suva on Wednesday, marking 40 years of collaboration. The event emphasized Seiko’s dedication to merging advanced technology with timeless designs, featuring timepieces that reflect precision, innovation, and sophistication.
As a pioneer in the watchmaking industry since its establishment in 1881, Seiko has achieved significant milestones, including the creation of the first quartz watch and recent advancements in GPS solar technology. Brett Neil, the sales manager for Oceania at Seiko Australia, highlighted the importance of the evening.
“We are not only celebrating our longstanding history with Prouds but also the launch of our new collections, including an exclusive collaboration with Lark, an Australian whiskey producer,” he stated while unveiling the new Seiko and Lark Presage.
Guests were invited to discover the latest offerings, which feature the newest Astron and Presage collections, along with the Seiko 5 Sports line. Prouds’ general manager, Rashmi Singh, expressed gratitude for the steadfast support that made the event possible.
“Together, we celebrate a journey defined by innovation and quality,” she noted.
The watch collection is limited to 1,000 pieces worldwide, paying homage to the Japanese philosophy ‘Ichigo Ichie,’ which translates to ‘for this time only.’
