Seiko’s New “Ichigo Ichie” Collection: A Timeless Celebration

SEIKO launched its eagerly awaited “Ichigo Ichie” collection at Prouds in Suva on Wednesday, marking four decades of partnership.

The event underscored Seiko’s dedication to merging advanced technology with timeless designs, showcasing watches that reflect precision, innovation, and sophistication. Established in 1881, Seiko has made significant strides as a leading watchmaker, including the introduction of the first quartz watch and recent advancements in GPS solar technology. Brett Neil, Sales Manager for Oceania at Seiko Australia, emphasized the importance of the occasion.

“We commemorate not just our history with Prouds but also the unveiling of our new collections, including a special partnership with Lark, an Australian whiskey producer,” he stated while presenting the newly launched Seiko and Lark presage.

Neil encouraged attendees to discover the latest offerings, which feature the new Astron and Presage collections, along with the Seiko 5 Sports series.

Rashmi Singh, General Manager of Prouds, acknowledged the steadfast support that made the event possible. “Together, we celebrate a journey characterized by innovation and excellence,” she remarked.

The watch collection is limited to 1,000 pieces globally, honoring the Japanese concept of ‘Ichigo Ichie,’ which translates to ‘for this time only.’
