Seiko’s “Ichigo Ichie” Collection: A Timeless Celebration of Innovation and Elegance

SEIKO launched its eagerly awaited “Ichigo Ichie” collection at Prouds in Suva on Wednesday, marking four decades of collaboration. The event showcased SEIKO’s dedication to combining advanced technology with timeless designs, featuring watches that reflect precision, innovation, and sophistication.

As the leading watchmaker since its establishment in 1881, SEIKO has made significant advancements, including the creation of the first quartz watch and recent innovations in GPS solar technology. Brett Neil, the Oceania sales manager for SEIKO Australia, emphasized the importance of the evening.

“We celebrate not only our history with Prouds but also the debut of our new collections, including a special collaboration with Lark, an Australian whiskey producer,” he stated while unveiling the new SEIKO and Lark Presage.

Neil invited attendees to explore the latest offerings, which encompass the new Astron and Presage lines, along with the SEIKO 5 Sports collection. Prouds general manager Rashmi Singh expressed gratitude for the ongoing support that has been crucial in making the event possible.

“Together, we celebrate a path marked by innovation and quality,” she remarked.

The watch collection is limited to 1,000 pieces globally, honoring the Japanese philosophy of ‘Ichigo Ichie,’ which translates to ‘for this time only.’
