SEIKO Celebrates 40 Years with Exclusive “Ichigo Ichie” Collection Launch

SEIKO launched its eagerly awaited “Ichigo Ichie” collection at Prouds in Suva on Wednesday, marking 40 years of collaboration.

The event underscored Seiko’s dedication to combining advanced technology with traditional designs, featuring timepieces that reflect accuracy, innovation, and sophistication. Established in 1881, Seiko has been a leader in the watchmaking industry, renowned for creating the first quartz watch and more recently, innovations in GPS solar technology. Brett Neil, Sales Manager for Oceania with Seiko Australia, commented on the importance of the evening.

“We celebrate not just our history with Prouds, but also the introduction of our new collections, which includes a unique collaboration with Lark, an Australian whiskey producer,” he said while unveiling the new Seiko and Lark Presage.

He invited guests to discover the latest offerings, including the newest Astron and Presage collections along with the Seiko 5 Sports line.

Rashmi Singh, general manager of Prouds, expressed her appreciation for the enduring support that has helped bring the event to life.

“Together, we celebrate a journey filled with innovation and quality,” she remarked.

The watch collection is limited to 1,000 pieces worldwide, honoring the Japanese concept of ‘Ichigo Ichie,’ which translates to ‘for this time only.’
