Residential land lots developed by the Housing Authority of Fiji in Covata, Labasa, are currently available for sale, with prices ranging from $70,000 to $130,000 for lot sizes between 250 and 600 square meters.
The Housing Authority announced this opportunity as it seeks expressions of interest for the remaining 50 percent of its residential lots in the area. This initiative offers potential buyers a chance to secure their ideal home in one of the Northern Division’s most vibrant and developing communities.
Ritesh Singh, the CEO of the Housing Authority, highlighted the strategic location of these lots, just 10 minutes from the Labasa district center and in proximity to essential amenities, including schools and shops. He encouraged individuals planning to retire in Labasa, as well as young professionals beginning their careers, to consider this worthwhile investment.
The site comes fully equipped with essential services such as streetlights, footpaths, green spaces, water and sewer connections, and an underground power supply.
To be eligible for purchasing a residential lot, applicants must be first-time homeowners, Fiji citizens, have an annual household income of $50,000 or less, be capable of financing the land and building a home, and be at least 18 years old.
Interested individuals can submit their expressions of interest online through the Housing Authority’s Customer Portal, ensuring they include all necessary documentation. The deadline for submissions is Monday.
