Residential land lots developed by the Housing Authority of Fiji (HA) in Covata, Labasa, are currently available for purchase. Prices range from $70,000 to $130,000 for land sizes varying between 250 to 600 square meters.
HA has announced a call for expressions of interest (EOI) for the remaining 50 percent of its residential lots in Covata. This initiative presents a chance for individuals to secure their dream homes in one of the most vibrant and developing communities in the Northern Division.
Ritesh Singh, the CEO of HA, highlighted the strategic location of these lots, which are only 10 minutes away from the Labasa district center and close to essential services such as schools and shops. He encouraged potential buyers, including those approaching retirement and young professionals starting their careers, to consider this investment opportunity as a way to secure a lot and build their future homes.
The site is well-equipped with amenities including streetlights, footpaths, green spaces, water and sewer connections, and underground power supply.
To apply for a residential lot, applicants must be first-time homeowners, citizens of Fiji, have an annual household income of $50,000 or less, and be at least 18 years old. Interested parties can submit their expressions of interest online through the Housing Authority’s Customer Portal, ensuring all required documentation is included. The deadline for submissions is on Monday.
