Plans are underway for a new market in Seaqaqa, Macuata, spearheaded by the Department of Town and Country Planning to stimulate the local economy. Labasa Special Administrator Samuela Ligairi has confirmed that the construction will address challenges faced by vendors operating from outdated stalls that currently lack essential facilities like public washrooms.
Ligairi noted that the Town and Country Planning Ministry is overseeing the project to ensure it serves the Seaqaqa community effectively.
