Sea Eagles Stars Selected for Fiji Bati in Pacific Championships!

Young talents Caleb Navale and Kylan Mafoa from the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have been named in the Vodafone Fiji Bati squad for the upcoming Pacific Championships.

Navale, 21, made his debut in the NRL for the Sea Eagles against South Sydney during Round 16 of this season. He followed this with another appearance against Newcastle a few weeks later, before focusing on honing his skills in the NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg competitions.

In July, the Sea Eagles recognized Navale’s potential by upgrading his contract, which placed him on the club’s Supplementary List for 2025 and made him part of the Top 30 squad for the next two years.

Navale first represented Fiji in last year’s Pacific Championships held in Papua New Guinea, where he participated in three international matches.

Joining him in the squad is Mafoa, who has put in impressive performances for Manly’s Jersey Flegg team this season, earning him a spot in the national team. Mafoa also participated in the NSW Cup this year.

Fiji will kick off their Pacific Championships campaign against the PNG Kumuls in Suva on Saturday, October 19.
