Scotland Women’s Head Coach Bryan Easson has revealed a significant lineup change for their final Vodafone Series match against Fijiana on Sunday, implementing eight personnel modifications and one positional switch in the starting XV.

Anne Young and Elliann Clarke are set to make their first appearances as starters for Scotland, taking positions at loosehead and tighthead prop, respectively. Lana Skeldon will continue at hooker, while Louise McMillan pairs with Sarah Bonar in the second row.

The back row sees a fresh look with captain Rachel Malcolm teaming up with Rachel McLachlan, and Jade Konkel returning to her customary number eight position.

In the backline, Meryl Smith transitions from centre to stand-off, working alongside Caity Mattinson, who is making a comeback after undergoing recovery from a serious neck injury sustained during the Guinness Six Nations earlier this year.

Lisa Thomson, recently back from her Olympic experience with Great Britain Sevens, rejoins the XV at inside centre after being absent last weekend during the victory over Wales. Emma Orr maintains her position at outside centre.

The back three features Coreen Grant, Chloe Rollie—who notably scored twice against Wales last Friday—and Rhona Lloyd, another athlete with Sevens expertise.

On the bench, forwards Elis Martin, Lisa Cockburn, Christine Belisle, Eva Donaldson, and Evie Gallagher are poised to contribute, while backs reserves include last weekend’s debutants Leia Brebner-Holden and the notable Lucia Scott, along with Helen Nelson, who can offer crucial support if needed.

The match will be available for live viewing on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app within the UK, as well as on the Scottish Rugby website for international audiences.
