Schoolteacher Faces Bench Warrant Amid Controversial Claims

Spread the love

A bench warrant has been issued for the arrest of suspended schoolteacher Kishore Kumar, who is facing serious allegations, including the unauthorized access of computer systems and the distribution of harmful electronic communications. The warrants come after Mr. Kumar failed to attend a court hearing before Suva magistrate Jeremaia Savou.

The accusations against him state that between May 1 and May 23 of the previous year, he allegedly hacked into a Facebook account that belonged to another individual, using that access to post derogatory comments targeting Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs Lenora Qereqeretabua.

The court has set the return date for the bench warrant as February 6 of next year.

This situation highlights the serious issue of cyber harassment and the importance of protecting individuals from online abuse. The justice system is taking steps to address such behavior, aiming to ensure accountability for actions that violate others’ privacy and dignity. It’s hoped that this case will be resolved quickly, underscoring the need for a safer digital environment for everyone.
