Three students from two different schools were apprehended yesterday for drug-related offenses. Assistant Commissioner of Police Livai Driu expressed gratitude towards the teachers for their cooperation in addressing the situation.
“We commend the teachers, an important part of our community, for their role in ensuring the safety of everyone involved. We will allow the legal process to run its course,” stated ACP Driu.
In a related development, investigations are underway at another school after the school manager discovered smoking paraphernalia in the dining hall and promptly reported it to the police.
It is encouraging to see educators actively participating in maintaining a safe environment for students. This collaboration between the police and school authorities underscores the community’s dedication to tackling substance abuse among youth and fostering a healthier, more secure atmosphere for learning.
