The Sugar Cane Growers Fund (SCGF) recently achieved recognition at the Fiji Human Resource Institute Awards 2024, winning four silver awards in various categories during their inaugural participation. SCGF’s CEO, Raj Sharma, expressed pride in the accomplishments, highlighting the organization’s commitment to employee well-being, engagement, and growth. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a culture of transparency, integrity, innovation, and collaboration within the workplace.
Sharma noted that SCGF’s human resource strategies focus on creating a supportive environment that enhances employee satisfaction, reduces turnover, and promotes a positive organizational culture. The continuous assessment and adaptation of HR practices are essential for fostering an engaged and productive workforce, which currently comprises 35 motivated team members dedicated to building the institution’s brand.
