Sanatan World Cup Chairman Fires Back at Rival Allegations

Subhas Sharma, the Chairman of the 10th Sanatan World Cup, has addressed various allegations concerning the upcoming event in Sydney next month. He emphasized that, despite another organization planning its own Sanatan World Cup in the same city, the World Cup at the Blacktown Spartans Sporting Complex is proceeding as planned.

Sharma condemned what he described as a misleading campaign from the rival group aimed at undermining their event preparations. He stated, “This is a completely unnecessary campaign by the rival body to sabotage a well-coordinated event.” He further criticized the competing group for focusing on negative tactics instead of promoting their own event since breaking away from the original committee in April.

Reassuring participants and the community, Sharma confirmed that the Australian Sanatan Youth & Sport Incorporated, the event’s host, has the backing of the Shri Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji. He also announced that the 10th Sanatan World Cup, sponsored by the Rams Group of Companies, has received official sanction from Football NSW through its affiliate, the Southern Districts Soccer Football Association, proving their legitimacy as an affiliated member of Australia Fiji Football Inc (AuFFI).

Additionally, Sharma mentioned that there have been unfounded allegations against the Sanatan World Cup board members. He vowed to pursue legal action to protect the integrity of the event and uphold the pride associated with Sanatan values.
