Sanatan World Cup 10th Edition: Bigger and Better Than Ever

The 10th edition of the Sanatan World Cup was launched in Sydney over the weekend in grand fashion.

Present at the colorful event were dignitaries from Sanatan World Cup Sports & Cultural Incorporated and Australian Sanatan Youth & Sports Incorporated, along with officials and guests from Australia Fiji Football Incorporated (AUFFI), New Zealand Fiji Football Incorporated (NZFFI), and member delegates.

Speaking at the grand launch, President and Board of Governor of Sanatan World Cup Sports & Cultural Incorporated, Neelesh Ram, revealed that this year’s event will be bigger and better in many ways.

He stated that this year’s World Cup is a testament to their resilience in the face of challenges and their commitment to success.

“Sports have the power of bringing us together, therefore through this World Cup event, we aim to unite our global Sanatan community and create an atmosphere that not only promotes playing of sports among our community but celebrates our unique culture and heritage.”

Ram announced that the World Cup will include various sports and cultural events, featuring soccer, netball, volleyball, golf, and billiards.

“We are grateful and teams from Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Canada, and the United States of America have confirmed their participation.”

“The organizing committee has been working tirelessly to ensure the event is a success and aims to go one better than the last tournament held in Queensland.”

“It is a proud moment for the Sanatan community in Sydney to host this prestigious tournament, and the 10th Sanatan World Cup is poised to be one of the biggest ethnic World Cups to be staged globally.”

He added that the World Cup will be sanctioned by Fiji Football Association and extended his thanks to Fiji FA President, Rajesh Patel, and Chief Executive Mohammed Yusuf for their continuous support.

The World Cup is scheduled to take place from September 26-29 at the Blacktown Spartan Sporting Complex, with the entire event sponsored by Rams Group of Companies.
