Samoa secured a decisive victory against Tonga in the 2024 Pacific Nations Cup, winning 43-17 in their second match at Apia Park today. This win came after Samoa faced a tough 42-16 defeat against Fiji in their previous match.

Demonstrating a significant improvement in performance, the Samoan team showcased strong discipline and commitment throughout the match. They established a commanding lead of 17-0 by halftime and continued to dominate in the second half, despite a few scoring attempts from Tonga.

With this victory, Samoa now looks ahead to the upcoming Fiji-Tonga match next week, which will determine their qualification for the PNC semifinals.
