Samoa achieved a convincing victory in the 2024 Pacific Nations Cup by defeating Tonga 43-17 in their second match at Apia Park today.

After suffering a significant 42-16 defeat against Fiji last week in Suva, Samoa rebounded with a much-improved performance on home turf. The team showcased excellent discipline and a high level of commitment throughout the match.

Samoa took a commanding 17-0 lead at halftime and continued to dominate in the second half, despite Tonga’s efforts to score.

Now, Samoa awaits the outcome of the Fiji-Tonga match next week to determine their chances of qualifying for the semifinals of the Pacific Nations Cup.
