Samoa secured a convincing victory in the 2024 Pacific Nations Cup, defeating Tonga 43-17 in their second match held at Apia Park today.

Following a challenging defeat to the Flying Fijians last week, where they lost 42-16 in Suva, Samoa showed significant improvement in their home game. The team displayed strong discipline and commitment throughout the match.

Samoa took an impressive 17-0 lead by halftime and continued to assert their dominance in the second half, despite Tonga attempting to score.

Now, Samoa must await the outcome of next week’s Fiji-Tonga match to determine their chances of qualifying for the PNC semifinals.
