Samoa achieved a convincing victory in the 2024 Pacific Nations Cup, defeating Tonga 43-17 in their second match at Apia Park today.

Following a disappointing 42-16 defeat to the Flying Fijians last week in Suva, the Samoan team rebounded effectively, showcasing improved performance, discipline, and commitment throughout the match.

Samoa established a strong lead, going into halftime with a score of 17-0, and continued to dominate in the second half, although Tonga did manage to score some points.

Now, Samoa must wait for the outcome of the upcoming Fiji-Tonga match next week to determine their qualification for the PNC semifinals.
