Outside back Salesi Rayasi has wrapped up his time with the Hurricanes by securing a two-year contract with French club Vannes.

The winger will depart the Wellington-based team after an impressive tenure, having played in 50 games.

The 27-year-old will forfeit his eligibility to play for the All Blacks due to this move.

However, Rayasi is open to the possibility of representing the Flying Fijians and embracing the heritage of his father, Filipe Rayasi, a former Fijian international who played fullback for the national team 13 times.
