S Nagindas Fiji has invested $4 million in a new outlet located at Damodar City in Labasa, which officially opened yesterday. This marks the company’s second outlet in the Labasa area.
Amit Khatri, the general manager of S Nagindas, expressed that the new outlet offers customers an international standard shopping experience. “The new outlet is a large store with a wide variety of products,” Khatri stated. He highlighted the company’s long-standing desire to establish a large shopping complex, noting the limitation of their smaller outlet in Labasa Town. He expressed gratitude to Damodar for developing the spacious shopping center.
In an interview, Khatri mentioned that the outlet caters not only to men’s clothing but also offers selections for women and children. “We wanted to showcase the extensive range of products we have for the people of Labasa,” he said.
The opening of the new outlet has also created job opportunities in the northern region, with 31 individuals being hired by the company. Mr. Khatri acknowledged the significant support received from the local community leading up to the launch of the new facility.
