Rumors Spark Around Ben Affleck’s Love Life Amid Divorce Drama

Rumors suggesting a romance between Ben Affleck and Kathleen “Kick” Kennedy emerged over the weekend, but a representative for Affleck has dismissed these claims as untrue.

“The rumors are not true,” said Affleck’s spokesperson, Jen Allen, addressing the speculation reported by various outlets.

Reports from People magazine indicated that Affleck and Kennedy, who have allegedly been spending time together since the spring, have a long-standing connection, with sources suggesting that Kennedy has always had a crush on the actor.

Kennedy, one of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s offspring, has previously been linked to Harper Simon, son of Paul Simon, and the late banking heir Matthew Mellon.

Despite his ongoing divorce from Jennifer Lopez, Affleck appears to be in good spirits. A recent photo showed the actor, typically pictured looking frustrated by paparazzi, smiling while receiving a food delivery at his Los Angeles rental.

Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in Los Angeles County Court, citing “irreconcilable differences” and listing their separation date as April 26. Additionally, Lopez indicated that neither party would seek spousal support, according to court records. Remarkably, she submitted the divorce paperwork on the second anniversary of their Georgia wedding.

Affleck and Lopez first became engaged in 2002 after meeting during the filming of “Gigli.” Though they planned to marry in 2004, the wedding was unexpectedly called off. Two decades later, the couple surprised fans by marrying in Las Vegas.

Speculation about their relationship began earlier this year when they were not seen together for an extended period. Concerns intensified when Affleck did not attend Lopez’s lavish “Bridgerton”-themed birthday party in July.

In the documentary “The Greatest Love Story Never Told,” Affleck openly expressed the challenges he faced with public scrutiny surrounding the couple’s relationship during the early 2000s.
