Rugby Transfer Shake-Up: Fiji Stars Move to French Clubs

Team Fiji men’s rugby sevens player Kaminieli Rasaku will join a French ProD2 club after the Paris Olympic Games. Grenoble has confirmed Rasaku as one of their recruits for the upcoming season.

In other moves, veteran Flying Fijian players Jale Vatubua and Aminiasi Tuimaba are leaving French Top 14 club Pau. Vatubua will join ProD2 club Dax, while Tuimaba heads to Beziers.

French Top 14 club Oyonnax has signed Peniame Narisia from Racing 92, Veresa Ramototabua from Mont-de-Marsan, and Eddie Sawailau from Perpignan.

Former Fiji-born New Zealand sevens rugby winger Joe Ravouvou has moved from Oyonnax to ProD2 club Bourgoin.

Montpellier has released utility player Masivesi Dakuwaqa, who is now with ProD2 club Biarritz, and center Christa Powell, formerly of Aurillac, has joined the club.

Castres winger Filipo Nakosi has transferred to ProD2 club Vannes.
