Rugby Stars Shine Bright at Marist Brothers Primary!

Spread the love

Students at Marist Brothers Primary School were thrilled to welcome players from the Fijian Drua rugby team for a special visit. Flanker Motikiai Murray and centres Aisea Tuisese and Joe Tamani engaged with the enthusiastic students, who eagerly took the opportunity to snap photos with their sports heroes.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement as the young fans posed questions for the players, generating cheers, applause, and laughter with each interaction. In addition to answering questions, the players signed posters for the students and even conducted a brief training session, giving the children a unique experience to learn from their idols.

This positive interaction between young fans and professional athletes not only inspires the students but also reinforces the importance of sports in bringing communities together. As we look forward to more such engagements, it is clear that initiatives like these foster greater passion for rugby among the younger generations, encouraging them to pursue their own dreams on and off the field.

A more detailed account of this heartwarming event can be found in tomorrow’s edition of The Fiji Times.
