Nilesh Singh, the founder of Niltech Consulting, celebrated a significant milestone in his company’s partnership with the Queensland Rugby Union (QRU) when he brought six Queensland Reds players to his alma mater, Suva Grammar School.

As a proud alumnus, Singh was excited to link the international rugby team with the school where his passion for rugby began. The Reds’ visit to Suva in May 2024, coinciding with their match against the Fijian Drua, marked a pivotal moment in the burgeoning collaboration that started just three months prior.

Singh announced that the partnership with the Reds has been extended for another year, allowing Niltech Consulting’s logo to remain visible on the team’s playing and training shorts as well as on the Queensland sevens squad.

Reflecting on the early phases of the collaboration, Singh noted, “The partnership has surpassed all expectations. We are very pleased, and long may it continue.” He highlighted the positive impact the sponsorship has had on Niltech Consulting, a digital transformation firm with operations in Brisbane, Malaysia, and plans to open in East Timor.

He recalled how the Reds’ significant victory against the Crusaders increased visibility for their logo, affirming that the partnership is indeed effective. For Singh, the relationship extends beyond corporate interests; it is rooted in personal connections and mutual respect throughout their collaboration.

The visit from the six players made a remarkable impression on the students, particularly when Peni Ravai offered guidance to the First XV prop. The players, including notable names like Seru Uru, Suliasi Vunivalu, and Hunter Paisami, took the time to interact with the students, which Singh described as one of the visit’s highlights.

He reiterated that this partnership aims to support rugby development in both Australia and Fiji while inspiring the next generation of athletes.
