At just 18 years old, Setareki Turagacoke made a remarkable debut for the FIJI Water Flying Fijians, playing against Spain in a thrilling match that ended in a 33-19 victory during their Europe Tour. Hailing from Dakuinuku in Sawakasa, Tailevu, Turagacoke enhanced his debut by scoring a try, contributing significantly to the team’s comeback win.
Turagacoke was called up to the Flying Fijians squad less than a week ago to replace the injured Temo Mayanavanua. After being listed in the reserves, he made an immediate impact once he took to the field in the second half. This young athlete currently plays for Stade Français Club in France, having joined last year after completing Year 12 at Lelean Memorial School in Nausori.
