Today, His Excellency Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, the President of Fiji, welcomed members of the Fiji Secondary School Rugby Union (FSSRU) for a courtesy visit at the State House.
During the meeting, the delegation presented a sevusevu, formally inviting the President to officiate at the FSSRU’s 85th Deans competition celebration scheduled for tomorrow at the HFC Stadium.
President Katonivere acknowledged the delegation and accepted their invitation, expressing his deep gratitude for the FSSRU’s consistent efforts and dedication to promoting rugby at the primary and secondary school levels.
He assured them of his continued support, encouraging members to enhance awareness of rugby’s development in remote islands and underscoring the importance of understanding the regulations set forth by the FSSRU.
