President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere has acknowledged the Fiji Secondary School Rugby Union’s (FSSRU) invitation to attend the finals of the 85th Deans competition, which will be held at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva tomorrow.
Today, a delegation from FSSRU visited the President at State House to present a traditional sevusevu and extend their invitation.
In his response, President Katonivere expressed his deep appreciation for the FSSRU’s commitment and hard work over the years in promoting rugby at both primary and secondary levels. He assured them of his ongoing support and urged the members to raise awareness of rugby development in the outer islands, highlighting the importance of understanding the rules governing the FSSRU.
