In the Inox Trophy, Services Ba secured a narrow victory over Green & Gold with a score of 13-10 in a tightly contested match. Meanwhile, Koro, Koroboya, and Vatutavui all achieved victories via walkover against Nakusarau, Nadrugu, and Bukuya, respectively, firmly establishing themselves in Pool C early on.
Pool D featured an impressive performance from Buyabuya, who overwhelmed Black Sand with an 8-0 victory, while Natunuku garnered a walkover against Nanoko.
