Eight teams have advanced through the challenging elimination rounds of the Vodafone Cup National Quarterfinals and are gearing up to compete for a place in the semifinals. Among the top teams are the formidable Dee Cees Nadera Panthers and the consistently strong Saru Dragons. Notably, the Laselase Cowboys and the Topline Warriors are making their debut at this level of competition.
FNRL Executive Chairman, Akuila Masi, is urging all fans to come out and support their teams. “This weekend promises to be an exciting chapter in our rugby league history,” Masi stated. “These teams have put in tremendous effort to reach this point and deserve every bit of support. It will be a day filled with intense competition and outstanding rugby.”
The quarterfinal matches at Lawaqa Park are as follows:
– 9:00 am: Warwick Vusu Raiders vs. Topline Warriors
– 11:00 am: Dee Cees Nadera Panthers vs. Waitaci Titans
– 1:00 pm: Ravoravo Rabbitohs vs. Laselase Cowboys
– 3:00 pm: Navy Albatross vs. Saru Dragons
The Vodafone Cup National Quarterfinals will take place this Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka, starting at 9:00 am.
