The Vodafone Cup national semifinals are set to take place this Saturday at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
The matchups come after a dramatic quarterfinal weekend, which saw notable teams such as the Dee Cees Nadera Panthers and the Saru Dragons eliminated from the competition.
In one semifinal, the Waitaci Titans will go head-to-head with the Navy Albatross, who recently defeated the defending champions, Saru Dragons, with a score of 27-18.
Meanwhile, the Ravoravo Rabbitohs will compete against the Vusu Raiders, both teams eager to secure a place in the Finals.
FNRL Executive Chairman Akuila Masi expressed his excitement for the upcoming matches, stating, “Last weekend showcased an impressive level of rugby league talent, and we expect the semifinals to elevate that excitement even further. We encourage everyone to attend and support their favorite teams.”
Additionally, the FNRL Women’s Premiership semifinals will occur simultaneously, featuring the Lami Steelers against the Yasawa Saints, and the Namoli West Tigers facing the Police Sharks.
This double-header promises a full day of rugby league action for fans in Nausori.
