Rugby Rivals Clash: Suva Club Games Deliver Thrilling Action

Exciting action took place on Saturday during the Suva Rugby Union club matches held at USP grounds in Suva.

In the sixth round of the FMF Koroturaga competition, Covenant Red secured a 12-0 victory over Kalokolevu Green. Nabua White triumphed against the Taha team with a score of 17-10, while Queen Victoria School Old Boys achieved a convincing 25-5 win against Fiji National University.

Draunivau Sharks also recorded a solid win, defeating Kalekana 20-0. However, Nakavu faced a setback as they lost to Savura, with a final score of 45-20.

In the FMF Escott Shield’s ninth round, Marist OB celebrated a 25-15 victory over Raiwaqa. The Lami Cavaliers managed a narrow win against Eastern Saints, finishing 7-5, while Naqarani edged out USP with a close 19-18 scoreline. Unfortunately for Covenant Blues, they fell to Freshet Nazy, losing 22-11.

Freshet Navy also enjoyed success as they claimed the Mosese Taga Shield.

As the round-robin matches continue in the Suva club games, anticipation grows for the upcoming matches scheduled next week at the same venue.
