Rugby Rivals Clash: Highlights from Suva’s Thrilling Club Matches!

Thrilling matches took place on Saturday at the Suva Rugby Union club games held at USP grounds in Suva.

In the sixth round of the FMF Koroturaga competition, Covenant Red claimed a win against Kalokolevu Green with a score of 12-0. Nabua White triumphed over the Taha team 17-10, while Queen Victoria School Old Boys defeated Fiji National University 25-5. Draunivau Sharks also secured victory over Kalekana, winning 20-0, but Nakavu faced a defeat against Savura, with a final score of 20-45.

In the FMF Escott Shield’s ninth round, Marist OB emerged victorious against Raiwaqa with a score of 25-15, while Lami Cavaliers edged out Eastern Saints in a close match, finishing 7-5. Naqarani also managed to secure a narrow win over USP, 19-18. Meanwhile, Covenant Blues experienced a loss to Freshet Nazy, ending with a score of 22-11.

Freshet Navy celebrated as they clinched the Mosese Taga Shield.

With round-robin matches continuing in the Suva club games, the competition is poised to heat up in the upcoming matches scheduled for next week at the same venue.
