Rugby Rivalry Heats Up: Vodafone Cup Quarterfinals Set for Action!

Eight teams have advanced through the rigorous elimination rounds for the Vodafone Cup National Quarterfinals and are ready to compete for a place in the semifinals. Among the strong contenders are the formidable Dee Cees Nadera Panthers and the competitive Saru Dragons. This year also marks the debut of the Laselase Cowboys and Topline Warriors at this stage of the tournament.

FNRL Executive Chairman Akuila Masi is urging fans to come out and support their favorite teams. “This weekend promises to be an exciting chapter in our rugby league history,” Masi stated. “These teams have put in immense effort to reach this point, and they deserve all the support they can get. Expect a day full of intense competition and thrilling rugby.”

The quarterfinal fixtures at Lawaqa Park are as follows:
– 9:00 am: Warwick Vusu Raiders vs. Topline Warriors
– 11:00 am: Dee Cees Nadera Panthers vs. Waitaci Titans
– 1:00 pm: Ravoravo Rabbitohs vs. Laselase Cowboys
– 3:00 pm: Navy Albatross vs. Saru Dragons

The Vodafone Cup National Quarterfinals will take place this Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka, starting at 9:00 am.
