The Serevi Academy of Rugby has received a generous donation of a Toyota twin cab 4WD from Asco Motors in Suva, significantly enhancing its mission to develop rugby in local communities. Academy founder, Waisale Serevi, a prominent figure in the sport, emphasized that this vehicle donation will facilitate extensive outreach, allowing the academy to host more rugby clinics and programs focused on engaging youth in positive activities.
Serevi, a staunch advocate against drug abuse, believes that rugby serves as a powerful tool for guiding young people toward constructive paths. Having spent over a decade in the United States, Serevi returned to establish the academy as part of his goal to empower local youth through sports.
