Entering its third consecutive year as the tournament sponsor, Fiji Bitter has been actively involved in community development, including the construction of new facilities for both Ratu Meli Memorial School and Yasawa North Secondary School. General Manager Mike Spencer expressed pride in the company’s ongoing support for the Yasawa Sevens, viewing it as a vital platform to highlight the hard work and determination of Fijian rugby athletes.

Spencer emphasized the sponsorship’s role in fostering grassroots rugby and leaving a positive, lasting impact on the community. Additionally, this year’s tournament will introduce sustainability initiatives aimed at preserving the natural beauty of Yasawa.

Mosese Susu, the tournament organizer, underscored that the Yasawa Sevens is much more than a mere sporting event; it is a vibrant celebration of the community’s spirit and love for rugby. The Fiji Bitter Yasawa Sevens is slated to take place on December 6-7 at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
