Eli Rauluni, a 14-year-old center, is making waves in rugby as he is set to represent Queensland in the Under 15s training squad. Eli, whose father is Jacob Rauluni, a former halfback and captain for the Flying Fijians, has showcased his speed and agility while playing at Nudgee College.

Jacob made his debut for the Reds in 1996 and enjoyed a successful international career with Fiji. Eli carries on this legacy, with his grandfather Taito having emigrated from Fiji in the mid-1970s to play rugby for Queensland before settling in Brisbane.

The selected 35-member Under-15s squad is gearing up for two matches against New South Wales, scheduled for October 6 at Ballymore and October 12 in Sydney. The team will be guided by coaches Sean Graham and Jack Hawksley. Notably, Nudgee College flyhalf-fullback Chilli Tonelli-Smith, the son of former Wallaby Brian Smith, is also part of the squad.
