Rugby Fever: Join the Excitement of the 7s Tournament in Nausori!

The “R.C. Manubhai Nataleira 7s” tournament is set to take place at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori from December 12 to 14. Registration is now open for teams interested in participating in this exciting four-tier event.

Tier 1 will feature 16 champion teams, with a registration fee of $500 per team. Tier 2 has space for 32 regular 7s teams charged a fee of $300 per team. For women, Tier 3 accommodates 16 senior women’s 7s teams, with a fee of $200, while Tier 4 is designated for 16 Under-19 teams at a cost of $100 per team.

Prize money for the tournament is substantial. In Tier 1, cup winners will receive $5,000, while the runners-up will get $3,000, alongside other rewards. Tier 2 winners can claim $3,000, with runners-up receiving $1,500. Tier 3 champions are set to earn $2,000, while the runners-up will take home $1,000. Lastly, in Tier 4, cup winners will be awarded $1,000 and the runners-up $500, in addition to various player and team prizes throughout the tournament.

Teams can pay their registration fees via Mpaisa, with specific numbers provided for different officials. After the payment, teams need to confirm their registration by sending their team name and fee details in a specified format.

It is important to note that only full payments are accepted, with no deposits allowed. The registration deadline is set for Friday, December 6, ensuring all teams are organized well ahead of the tournament start.
