Sports Minister Jese Saukuru recently uplifted the spirits of the Macuata Rugby Union by presenting them with new training equipment. The team’s enthusiasm was evident as they received the gear, but Saukuru’s message carried a deeper significance beyond the physical items.
“Sports are more than just games—they’re opportunities,” he stated.
Saukuru highlighted that with the right mindset and dedication, rugby could provide pathways beyond Fiji. He encouraged the youth, saying, “To all our young people, remember that with determination and effort, you can achieve great things. Let’s support each other and keep aiming high.”
