Sports Minister Jese Saukuru recently uplifted the spirits of the Macuata Rugby Union by providing them with new training gear. The team’s enthusiasm was evident as they received the equipment, but Saukuru’s message conveyed more than just the gift itself.
“Sports are more than just games—they’re opportunities,” he stated.
Saukuru underscored that with the right mindset and dedication, rugby can create pathways beyond Fiji. He encouraged the youth, saying, “To all our young people, remember that with determination and effort, you can achieve great things. Let’s support each other and keep aiming high.”
